Meet Dr. Cassandra Hawkins
Dr. Cassandra taught school for 29 years. She has degrees in speech, theater, and communication. She even has a Doctor of Ministry degree! Dr. Cassandra believes in helping kids be creative and learn good character through Bible stories and plays.
Ms. Dawn Tulini – Expert Teacher
Ms. Tulini has taught all grade levels. She is great at teaching subjects like reading, science, and math.
She retired in June 2022 but is still teaching at Brainfood Academy. Her experience helps students succeed.
Mr. Emilio Cantu – Making Music Fun
Mr. Cantu loves music and wants students to love it too. He teaches music theory and guitar. Moreover, he wants to help students read musical chords and become proficient in the art of music. In fact, he started Mariachi bands in Texas to demonstrate his passion for sharing the love of music.
Professor Ms. Francine Jackson – Science Superstar
Professor Ms. Jackson gets students excited about physics and astronomy. She shows how science connects to everyday life.
She teaches the math behind the universe and gets students to explore science around them.
Ms. Jackie Starling – Reading and Math Whiz
Ms. Starling graduated from the University of Florida. She specializes in teaching reading and math to elementary kids.
She makes sure students learn all parts of reading and math so they gain important skills.
Mr. Matthew Janecek – History Detective
Mr. Janecek says history is factual, not up for debate. He has students discuss history to understand the past, present, and future.
He uses facts to help them find their voice and make informed choices.
Ms. Jay Fish – Sign Language Superstar
Ms. Jay loves teaching and uses sign language to show the joy of language. Her class explores language, music, and communication through sign language.
This creates fun and inclusive learning.
Ms. Wendy Naruse and Felix – Dynamic Duo
Ms. Wendy and her stuffed pal Felix make learning an adventure! Her experience in special ed, tutoring, and Cantonese helps make a unique classroom.
She adds fun to get kids pumped about math.
Mr. Corry Hamilton – Math Master
Math scares some kids, but not with Mr. Hamilton! He shows math is part of daily life and helps kids enjoy it.
From basic to trig, he breaks math down so students can master this key skill.
